Summer Course Transferability

I am a senior in HS that will be starting at UCSD this fall quarter. However I want to take some classes the summer before so I can get those out of the way and take different classes in the year.

I was wondering, if I take the courses this summer, does the GPA go into my transcript for Undergraduate or is it only when fall quarter starts and everything after that.

If I went to a CC and finished these same courses, only the credit would transfer, so I'm asking if the GPA will transfer if i take them at UCSD the summer before the fall quarter, or will it only be the credits from the courses that I took.

It's only the credit that transfers no matter what. GPA is never calculated in, unfortunately. The grade & course shows up on your academic record (online) but if you were to get a physical copy of your transcript, it doesn't say anything, just that you took x units at y college.

Does that make sense...?
