Hi all! I’m a freshman and I’m currently in a CC due to personal issues (non academics). My CC doesn’t offer my chem 101 in the spring and bio 101 is filled up. Will taking bio 101 and chem 101 in the summer kill my chances of dental school? Especially since I’m already at a community college?

Most of the dental schools I looked at don’t accept pre-reqs at a community college... I’d call the schools you’re interested in and ask.

I honestly wouldn't take prereqs at a community college. Many colleges will not accept them and its a pain trying to get stuff to articulate to a 4 year if they don't believe the class you took followed the same syllabus or curriculum. I have experience with a lot of my stuff not transferring.
