I know that the 2015-2016 FAFSA is used to determine aid for the Summer 2016 session, but does anyone know how to update the information so that you can get graduate financial aid? I had already submitted my 2015-2016 FAFSA to receive aid for my senior undergraduate year and I'm just not sure how to make the appropriate changes to it. Has anyone had any experience with this? Also, if I already took out loans to finish my undergraduate degree will I even be able to receive any aid for the summer? Any advice is appreciated!

Have you tried calling the FA office at your new school?

I added my DPT program to my list of schools on the 2015-2016 FAFSA. My school then had a supplemental form where I indicated that I would be a beginning graduate student, and from there they updated my FAFSA for me. I subsequently received summer financial aid even though I am at the capped amount for undergraduate, so you should receive aid. Contact your schools financial aid office and ask about steps for their specific school.
