summer grades update

This summer I'll be applying to DS and retaking OChem I (got a D). I'm confident I'll get a better grade. But it'll be pointless if DS don't even see this grade until December.

Is there any way I can update this grade on AADSAS over summer? Or should I wait until the class ends (July 1) to apply?

If you truly believe that this grade will hinder your chance, you should def. wait until July to apply. If you apply in June, you will not be able to update that grade until late November. There are many advantages in applying early, but July is really not that late in the game.
