Summer Grades?

I took a couple classes during Summer 1 and I have 6 more hours of A's now so I was wondering if sending another transcript to AADSAS and TMDSAS would get my gpa updated? Or is that not possible because it's not the academic update period?

I do believe that you will be unable to have these credits factored into your GPA until the academic update period.

No academic update until the period between NOV-FEB. Feel free to snail mail your transcripts to all your designations if you like.

I called AADSAS about that too since I just took 6 credits too in summer I. They said that the GPA wont be updated until Academic Update (NOV-FEB), but that the schools will be able to see your transcripts online in your file as soon as AADSAS receives my transcripts. So I am sending my transcripts to AADSAS so the schools can atleast see that I got more As in. I suggest you do the same, good luck 🙂

Oh wow nice! I will definitely be getting those in as soon as possible then. Hopefully adcoms will be impressed that I juggled 2 classes and preparing for the DAT at the same time. Thanks and good luck to you too!

No it's not for a grade change. It's just an update to my coursework, I didn't repeat a class. The "grade change" is if you have received a diff grade by repeating the class

I had to hold submitting my application exactly for the reason of getting my summer grades included. Yes, I needed the summer session grades for my GPA.

funnyyy I also heard through my friend that you could do this because I'm in a similar situation...so I decided to call AADSAS to verify whether or not this was true but the rep said that the schools would not be able to see the transcript until it was updated in November!!! What is going onnn!? Why are they telling us different things??? But you know what, I'm still going to send it in...better to be safe than sorry I guess. Ugh I just dislike the fact that different reps are presenting contradictory informatio 😕

so i just got off the phone with AADSAS, and unfortunately schools will NOT be able to see transcripts from the summer until after the academic update which would be in november-january-ish. but he said u can go ahead and send them in anyways so theyll be ready to go by the time the academic update happens. hope this helps!
