Summer Internship for Pre-pharmacy Student

I'm a pre-pharmacy student and next year will be my last year in undergrad. Are there any internships or programs in the summer that will take pre-pharmacy students in California, or anywhere else? Most of the ones that I've seen are for students who are already in Pharmacy school, like at Walgreens, Target, CVS, etc. Thanks!

What kind of internship and program? I believe the best thing for you to do is to contact companies, universities, programs and express your interest in internship. Open your yellow page or go to google, and start sending emails and making phone calls!

i had a really hard time finding an undergraduate pharm internship but i did volunteer at hospitals. the only downside, i wasn't allowed to do much but being around pharmacists and the environment definitely helped. maybe with a bit more persistence, you'll have more luck than i did

I too volunteer in a hospital. It's a great exp.

I'm looking for an internship too. If anyone has any light on these please share.

It's best to just become a pharm tech. It's a paid internship basically.

It also looks great on application for pharm school, employers, and pharm techs make some good money for a college student.
