How does one go about finding a summer internship in his/her area?

hiya - your first step is doing a basic search on www.google.com. Also, go to Syracuse university's homepage and do a search for "hpap". You will then find a bunch of internships listed by states. If you are a URM, you can apply to the MMEP program - they have various sites throughout the country. You can get their website of aamc.org. I'm sorry I don't have specific links to direct you to. What are your interests?
