Hey guys, so I'm totally free this summer and looking forward to it! After taking some classes, I realize that I'd just love to get my whole year of physics over with in a summer. I'm not too great at it, and I don't want to have to take it along with Orgo.

However...I've filled apps for about 3-5 summer programs that I'm really interested in! Most of these programs are only available for fresh/soph, and I'd like the opp of taking 2 over one...

So what should I do? I'm sure I'd get a better grade in the summer session (Have nothing but two classes) than in the year....but is it worth it to pass up the summer programs?

I'd definitely go for the summer program. I'm regretting the fact that I never took the opportunity to apply to any of these summer programs!

Also in regards to the MCAT and taking pre-reqs over the summer. Summer sessions are usually driven so fast that you barely learn the information. You're practically memorizing the information just to past the test, ie. you're going to have one hell of a time trying to recover the information when you actually start studying for the MCAT.

In my opinion, go for the summer program. Explore some opportunities that are not located on your school's campus, and just put in the time and effort for your pre-reqs during the semester.
