When it comes to research / internship opportunities I'm sure we're all jealous of our American friends and all the options they have.

I was hoping that someone maybe knows a networking site or anything where I can look for research opportunities, summer programs in Canada.

Check your own university, particularly the Faculty of Medicine website if there is one. I know that my school (UBC) has a section for summer studentship postings.

If you can hook up with a professor, there is always the NSERC summer studentship.

Email all the professors who have ever taught you and whose research you are remotely interested in with your CV and possible funding they could sponsor you to apply for.

Do co-op.
