Hey guys,

I'm interested in Emergency Medicine and wanted to explore research opportunities for the summer. What do you guys reccommend? Will research help an EM residency application and what kind of research is done?

do whatever research you're interested in. summer projects are very time-limited, so it's unlikely you'll develop your own project. talk to the people at your school's EM dept. about what's going on there. the topic of the project is probably less important than the networking you may be able to do. have fun.
