Summer session grades, after submitting application

If i plan to submit my app early June,

and i take (possible 4 courses) over the summer (June to probably around mid september)

Should i submit transcript with these grades too?
or is it optional? (if i do good, submit transcript, and if not just forget it?)

You update your application in November with the grades after you submit.

1. Officially you e-update your application after your 1st semester between November and January-ish depending on when your quarter/trimester/semester system ends. This is for both summer classes and fall session.
2. If you did exceptional in courses relevant to dental school, and want to update schools, send them a formal letter or e-mail with your new grades. It can't hurt but it might help.
