SUNY Albany PhD in Social Welfare

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have information (other than what is on the website) about SUNY Albany's PhD in Social Welfare program? I came upon it the other day and it sparked my interest. Is this a "respectable" program and a degree that I can do research/"public health" type of work (ie. working for state gov't, non-profit organization)?
I would appreciate any help!

I'm guessing it would be comparable in useful ways to Berkeley's degree in Social Welfare-probably very versatile in terms of doing policy work, direct service, administration, etc. You can probably go to the Cal website and do some exploration, including looking at what their career center says about where their grads go..
