SUNY at Buffalo is booking interviews into mid-Decemeber now?

hey does anyone know if SUNY at Buffalo is now booking interviews into mid-December, when I called obviously they were booking early November but I was wondering for another friend of mine that is still waiting to hear back from them?! Thanks for the info!

SUNY's interview cycle runs pretty late compared to other dental schools if I've perceived it correctly.

looking at predents.com there are several people posted with Nov and post Dec dates. I think it is safe to assume that pre Dec invites are full.
Overall I would think good 1/3 of schools have filled their pre Dec spots for interviews.

for ppl that interview before dec 1, they will give you your decision at midnight dec 1st on aadsas portal... so i think it is an advantage...

As of today, the first Thursday interview Buffalo had available was Jan. 7 and the first Friday was Jan. 15.

I think it's probably an advantage to interview there early, I've heard that the pre-dec 1st interviews are one applicant pool and the post-dec 1st is a 2nd applicant pool, the 1st group is probably more competitive and the spots fill up quicker, you can still get in post-dec 1st of course but there are less spots but also not as many 4.0gpa and 24 dat scores. This is all just what I've gathered from reading some SDN and talking to some Buffalo students. Please let me know if you think this is incorrect. 🙂

buffalo is infamous for waitlisting people, the earlier the interview, the better chance by 100% you have of getting into buffalo.

I got my invitation on 9/30, and when I called that time they only had early Dec available, and I was told that the school closes from mid-Dec to after new year. My guess is December would be fully booked by now.
