I got the email from SUNY Buffalo that gave me a link to their electronic secondary application.
I was expecting the usual secondary which basically asks a whole bunch of simple and mundane questions, ask who will send them a letter, whether or not you know of anyone graduated or worked at that medical school and then tell you to send them $100.
The Buffalo secondary is not even a secondary. All it asks is for you to read their rules and what factor they think you must possess in order to become a doctor and get the MD from their school and then asks your address and name.
They don't ask what undergrad you came from, who is sending the letter of recommendation. Nothing important.
They do ask a really weird question. Do you realize that if you commit a felony you could be prohibited from getting a medical license? Well, let me think about it. Yeah I realize it. What is the point of this question if you don't ask the question of whether or not you have been convicted of a felony. Everyone and their mother realizes the fact that commiting a crime can have its disadvantages.
They don't even give you an option of printing up and getting a copy of the secondary for your file. What the hell is that?
Well, I just thought it was weird.
Has anyone else been through this?
