For the few people who have gotten an interview invite. Did you first get a letter telling you your file was complete? Did your invite come in the mail or was it via email? Also, when are your dates. Thanks for the info. I love Buffalo...i need to get in there!

I called Buffalo yesterday and they said that they'll send out a postcard when my file is complete.

I got a letter by snail mail about 2.5 weeks ago. I interviewed there on this past friday, Oct 7th. It was a wonderful experience, and a wonderful school. Best of luck to you!

P.S. The first day of interviews was Oct 6th, but I couldn't make it then.

Wow, congrats. Do you know if they interview without having the 3 full letters of rec. cuz my prof is being really slow with it.

My dentist/family friend went to Buffalo for dental school and he said it was a great school. I'd be so happy to get in there. Here's hoping that I get some mail soon 👍

I just got an interview via mail with 2 rec's. My prof is being slow. Anybody knows what the interview is like? Said something about a sample writing. Do you have to write an essay in 10 minutes?

They give you 10 minute to write an essay, but it's very general. I forget what the question was exactly, but something like "tell us about an experience that showed you something about dentsitry"

Congrats on the interview 👍 When did AADSAS send out your app and when is your interview day for? I know Buffalo starts kind of late in the game and they don't fill their class till later on but, I'm still worried about being so late.

I first received a postcard letting me know that my file was complete and in review. Then about a week later I received a letter inviting me to interview. They are only doing their interviews on Thurs. and Fri. (12 people per day) in October and November. Good luck!

SUNY Buffalo sent me an invite about 2.5 weeks ago as well. I have heard great things about them and they have been more curteous and thorough in getting back to me than any other school. The invite was a letter. They actually interview on Thursday and Friday of most weeks and they let me sign up for the day that I wanted. That was really awesome. I haven't been to interview yet but they tell you in the letter that you have to write a ten minute response essay of some sort while you're there.

I did submit my app to AADSAS on the first possible day so I'm sure that helped and I had a committee letter sent from my school so that took care of the three letters.

If you have any questions, I recommend emailing Barbara who's email you can find on Buffalo's website. She is very helpful and left me with a great impression about the admissions dept.

My AADSAS was mailed out on Aug 18. I received a postcard saying that my application was complete as well as an invite for an interview on the same day on Oct 14. I havent scheduled the interview yet, but the invite says that they only meet on Thursdays now. Hope this helps.

Wow, my application was mailed out on July 22 and I still have not had an Interview! AND I'M FROM BUFFALO!! THAT'S IT I'M GOING OVER THERE TOMORROW! 😡

I interviewed at buffalo last year and now I am here. Buffalo seems to be a great school so far and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Of course I should be studying for my anatomy test next week instead of sitting here watching reruns of CSI and reading this. So far it has been a lot of work but it is worth it. Good luck.

Hey! With your stats(which are much higher than mine I might add) I'm sure you'll get an interview 🙂 When did AADSAS mail out your app? Mine was mailed out 9/26 and I received a interview letter earlier this week. Which is weird since I never received a postcard that my app was complete 🙄 But my friend did on the same day I got my letter.

My 1st interview!! 😀 I'm so happy to hear from a school. I better not screw it up on Nov 11th.

I have interview this Thursday. My application was sent on Aug 8 and I got invitaion for interview in Sep 30. I did not get the postcard. With your stat I'm sure you'll get an interview. 🙂

when i called on wed the first days were the 1st and 2nd....must be filling up quick. my aadsas got mailed 10/18, invited on tuesday.
