I can only find an old thread from 2008-2009 which claims this place is malignant as they come. Can anyone shed light on it more recently? Is this place really that bad?
Only anacdodle but definitely not the worse, have the usual state/city facility bureaucracy..mostly
Underserved/chronic population, be sure to ask about call schedules..
It's a city program so expect rude nurses (unionized), i don't think it's particularly busy..but can't be certain. The crisis center is pretty busy and the population is chronic mentally ill/substance users, I've seen the cafeteria and it sucks, the area around the hospital is undergoing some gentrification but is still pretty indigent, i think parking is around ~100/mo and street parking is sparse. Overall i think the place is pretty psychodynamically oriented training wise, attending's are experienced/older depending on your frame. Hope i could help..
