Hello, I was just invited to SUNY for an interview this cycle and I was wondering if anyone has any advice to prepare for the interview? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Hi! I would say to practice your answers to the basic questions: tell me a little more about yourself, why optometry, why SUNY, etc. I found my interview to be laid back. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all and everyone there is really nice. Be sure to sleep well the night before, and just be yourself. They'll be able to tell if you're just answering a rehearsed answer. You've gotten this far, so good luck!

I agree! They really only asked about 4 or 5 questions and they actually seemed to want to get to know you better. I mainly got the typical questions--why optometry, why SUNY, what I like to do for fun, etc. It was very laid back! I was definitely more nervous than I should have been...good luck and I'm sure you'll do great!
