Wow, congratulations! It is also my first choice, but I am still waiting for my OptomCAS app to be sent out.

My friend got an interview with 370 AA and 370 TS and a 3.12 GPA. He went to UCB.

You mean when was he notified he got an interview or when was he notified of his admission decision? I'm assuming you mean when was he notified he got an interview because it is much too early to hear an admission decision. He was notified of an interview yesterday (at least that's what he told me, but I believe him though).

Is it really as scary as they all say it is?
What is their point in asking you all your weaknesses? They obviously have already happened...

I got an email from them on 9/8 saying that they downloaded my app and were waiting on my supp fee. I paid that on 9/13 and got an email this morning 9/15 inviting me for an interview.

Btw, I submitted my app to OptomCAS 8/16 (verified and mailed 8/25).

I got an email saying they received my application on 9/8.
I got an email this morning (9/15) for an interview.
My stats are absolutely terrible so I have no idea what they looked for.

lol well good luck on your interview! I just emailed Dr. Philpott and he said my application is under review! So I should hear next week.

My interview went well! And I was accepted!

I do not think it was as bad as people say at all. Everyone was really nice! I had three interviewers and they were all really awesome. They definitely did not fire questions at me one after the other and I felt it was more conversational than an interview.

Hey people, does SUNY require SAT scores and AP scores? If so, did you guys just submit it directly to SUNY from collegeboard? Thanks.

Yes, SUNY requires SAT scores. I don't think they require AP scores. I submitted it directly from collegeboard to the school. (40 dollars total since they archive your score after one year from high school - super lame 😡)

How long does it take SUNY to get back to you once they downloaded your application? Or is a better way of asking: how long does it take once they receive everything (transcripts, recommendations...etc)

What exactly are your stats if you dont mind me asking? I take the OAT tomorrow and I'm considering SUNY but idk if my scores will be competitive enough. I'd love to know what you got on yours and gpa.

I send in my application 8/26, paid the secondary application fee on 9/8 and got a rejection letter in the mail today. Hopefully I hear better news from Nova & Pacific….

Did they give a reason why in the letter? What were your stats?
