SUNY Tuition Increases

Hey Guys and Gals,

I don't want to scare anyone but I just thought this information would be useful for any future decisions. It appears according to a new letter sent out that SUNY is raising in state tuition to about 15 000 something and out of state tuition is jumping a whopping 31 000 something. They cite the reason to be the economic downturn.

The economy is catching up...

Any news on other schools increasing tuition rates at this moment?

SCCO predicts a 3% increase of tuition each year.

This was one of the questions I asked the Professor during my interview last month at SCO. He said that SCO has made very sound financial decisions and that they are very financially stable. Tuition isnt going to increase beyond the normal year to year increase which I seem to remember being ~2 %...I could be slightly off on that figure.
