hey-
i interviewed at upstate on the 8th, so i can give you somewhat of a rundown. you have to be there at 830 for a little 1/2 hour intro, and then there are two interviews during the day. most people seemed to have one student and one faculty interview, although i had two faculty (not sure if that was good or bad or whatever.) interviews are at 9ish, 10ish, or in the afternoon after the tour and lunch. some people had 9 and 10 so were done after the tour, i had a 10 and one in the afternoon so its sort of random. you may have to walk about 10 minutes (at the max) to where your interview is from the admissions office, then of course there's the tour so be prepared to walk some for that. the dean of students (i think) also talked to us about the syracuse/binghamton campus choice and a few other things, he was very nice and welcoming. the interviews were pretty much nonstress, although be prepared to discuss your AMCAS in depth, both faculty members had reviewed my file and were ready to ask specific questions about my ps or specific classes. no real tough ethical questions, just standard "why upstate" questions and the like. hope your interview goes well, feel free to ask more questions if you have some.
