Hi all;

I'm planning on heading up to Syracuse in the fall to start medschool, and I was wondering if I could get some help from folks who have taken this summer anatomy course.

I spent two semesters in PA school, where we had cadaver dissection for a summer (though not as in-depth as med school, I'm sure); I have been exposed once already to the major concepts/structures in anatomy, but the summer course seems like a great opportunity because you have time to take electives/TA anatomy in the fall when the rest of the class is taking it.

Do any of you know what kind of electives are available for MSI students to take during the fall if they do the summer anatomy class? Are all the clerkship electives open in a limited fashion (i.e., you just shadow, as opposed to H&Ps, write orders, etc, like an MS3 or MS4 on those rotations?) or are the electives limited to didactic coursework or shadowing in a basic primary care environment?

Thanks again, everyone.
