I was recently accepted to both SUNY and the accelerated scholars program at Salus. Any thoughts on which one to accept?

Congrats on getting accepted to both schools!

If you have the funds and/or an in-state student that wishes to practice in the state of New York in the future, go to SUNY. The student that guided my tour at Salus also mentioned that only SUNY students are permitted to do 4th year rotations in the state of New York (if that matters to you).

If student loan debt isn't a factor you're considering, you should probably look at the curriculum for both schools and see which one will fit your lifestyle/study habits.

Based off of boards scores alone, I would choose SUNY. Salus has not been performing well for a number of years. They have recently changed their curriculum and faculty to help improve their situation, but those changes won't be seen for another few years. Although Salus is older, SUNY is a public institution that draws in clinical research faculty, top-rated students from the US (just look at their OD/MS applicants page), and consistently performs near the top for Boards.
Both are great institutions, but if I were making the decision, I'd choose SUNY.

does anyone know or has anyone calculated how many questions for part 1 you can get wrong and still pass?
