Hey guys, so I just checked on SUNY's site (I should've done this sooner), but I read that admission will only be considered if they receive a recommendation from the pre-professional committee at my undergraduate school.. Clearly, I didn't do this, but I was wondering if everyone who applied to SUNY got one from their committee??

i applied with my pre health commitee. i was in CSTEP program in suny during the summer and asked the director of admissions about this question and she said it MUST be from a pre health committee. getting a recommendation from my committee was such a long process itself.

I didn't get a committee letter. I just got 3 individual recommendations, and they still offered me an interview.

So you got three individual recommendations? From who were these letters from?

I didn't do a committee letter either and was offered an interview. 2 letters came from optometrists I shadow and 2 were from professors (1 science, 1 non-science).
