Super Bowl countdown

Saints? Not a chance. I never got why people were in such a fuss about them. They had probably the easiest schedule in the NFC, and they barely squeaked past a lot of those games; AND, they're ice cold right now. Losing to Dallas, TAMPA BAY!, and Carolina in their last three games.

I think the Packers are going to take the NFC, and meet the colts in the big game.

Colts win the Superbowl. Hate to say it being the huge Eagles fan that I am.

Dallas 31, San Diego 27

I'm pulling for Arizona and Minnesota to win this week so that the NFC Championship is the Geezers Bowl between Brett Favre and Kurt Warner. Warner was just flat out on fire this weekend turning a good Packer defense into dogcrap.

My packers took too long to get their ish together against the cardinals, so my prediction:

Cowboys vs Colts (colts taking it down)

Reggie bush will just have to sit at home and watch the big game with Kim Kardashian...

This weekend's games

Saints and Cardinals .... Saints if they can control Warner

Cowboys and Vikings .... could be very close if Romo is on his game

Ravens and Colts .... not even close --> Colts

Jets and Chargers .... this could be the most exciting game of the weekend and the closest. Flip a coin.

Let's see if my crystal ball is still 100% accurate after Sunday's games. As a New Orleans native and long-suffering Saints fan, yesterday's blowout over the Cards was great to watch. Brought back fond memories of working weekends during the NFL season at New Orleans Charity Hospital (pre-Katrina) which is only two blocks from the Superdome. Some of the stuff which would wander into Charity's ER after a game ........ ah, memory lane.

Today I'm predicting Cowboys over the Vikes, and the Chargers by a squeaker.

👍👍👍👍

I miss being in N.O., myself. I was down during the AOA convention in November and got to go to the Falcon's MNF game. Growing up watching the Cajun Cannon, Ironhead Heyward, Dalton Hillard... man, if we had this talent back then... these are good times, Saints fans. Even if we don't win it all, these last few years have been more fun than I can remember. Most surprising thing from yesterday's game: Reggie Bush showed up at RB. The man played like he was Deuce. Keep that up and there's nothing gonna stop us. Looking for a Bolts v Saints SB...

Next week is going to be a hell of a weekend to watch football.

:corny:

I hope so...this weekend turned out to be nothing but blowouts. Not so much fun if you aren't a fan of the winning teams.

As for my 'Boys, I was wondering if anyone with a little more objectivity thought it was classless for Brett to throw twice on fourth down, up some 20 points, looking for another touchdown in the final minutes.

I normally like Favre, especially since we owned his ass in the 90's, but I almost wonder if that was his call. I don't fancy Brad Childress as the kind of guy to run up a score.

I can't stand the Cowboys (sorry), but I thought it was pretty crappy for Farve to throw on 4th and too much up by 24 pts for a TD... I mean... com'on... but karma is a mutha...

Compared to last week's snoozers, the conference championships were both great games.

Must say I give the edge to Peyton right now. Saints lost some offensive power, although the Vike's D is strong. It's hard to justify taking a game to overtime when you own the turnover margin by +4

[silently wishing today's Minnesota team had shown up last week.]

So...Are you MOFOS ready for some football?! Who dat?!

No more Nagin party, parades all day, Superbowl, then hopefully celebration afterward...
there are going to be some drunk folks in NOLA tonight. even more than usual.
I should have taken the day off tomorrow!

Onside kick. BALLSY. WOW. and they get it!
😱😱

Though it didn't matter in the end b/c of the intercept and runback, the two point conversion was the best play of the game in my book:
