My AADSAS application got mailed out the middle of last week. To speed up the process I was considering sending in my supplemental application checks tomorrow even before I get notified by the universities. Would the schools accept the checks and place it with my application until it gets reviewed or would I end up getting screwed out of some money?

I will not suggest you do this for a number of reasons. First of all, if your application is sent out last week, most likely they still have not gotten to your file. If you send your supp. fee, there would not be a file to cross-reference it with at this moment.

Second, many of the schools require essays, other information, in addition to your processing fee. I will suggest that you wait till the schools request you to send a processing fee. For instance, with UCSF, not all students get secondaries. If you send a supp. fee there with no request, I really have no clue what will happen, other than taking your money for no reason. With Loma Linda, they immediately decline students without even requesting supp. fee. Again, waiting is best, if you cant, contact your schools and ask what appropriate steps you should take.

I looked into it a little further on AADSAS, some of the schools such as USC suggest:

"send these materials to the dental school at the same time you send AADSAS materials:
Application Fee
DAT scores"

While other schools such as Nova suggest to wait until contacted..

Yeah, go down the list on ADSAAS and see the schools that want you to send everything at the same time you submit the application. At these schools not sending in the fee could delay your app, so send it soon.
