Hi,

So, I am looking at this link about the supplemental information.

http://www.adea.org/dental_educatio.../Pages/ADEAAADSASSupplementalInformation.aspx

How does it work usually? You send your application and then the schools will contact you about the additional essays or so??

Are the questions generally about why specifically applying for certain school and stuff?
You've got it mostly correct. You first submit your AADSAS application. After that, it's your respnsobility to stay on top of all your schools requirements and deadlines. As you see on that supplemental application list you posted, some schools will require applicants to submit their supp at the same time they submit the AADSAS while others will contact the applicant for the supp. Others have no supp at all, just a fee you've got to submit.

I recommend making an excel spreadsheet to keep track of all your schools deadlines and requirements. Especially if you're applying to 10+ schools.

It really depends on the school, some have none with just fee, some have one or a few short answer questions, some have you enter information already listed on your application, and the worst are the ones with multiple essay questions.

Longcat covered the other question.
