Supplemental Application Rejection

Some dental schools mention that an admission officer will contact you for a supplemental application.

Is there a possibility that the admission officer does not contact you for a supplemental application (due to low GPA, low DAT, lack of EC, etc)?
OR
If I e-submit my AADSAS application and paid my application fee for all the designated schools, would the admission officers for each school send me a supplemental application no matter what?

The schools who say that will send you an email with instructions on filling out the supplemental. You can be rejected without being invited to fill out a supplemental.

It doesn't matter. Your app won't be considered complete and be sent out to schools until your DAT is uploaded.

What @Daneosaurus and @sjv were saying was that you can be rejected without filling out a secondary application, but it isn't likely because they would rather charge you the secondary fee and then reject you. What I was saying was that you won't get to that point where you'll be rejected or receive a secondary application until your DAT has been taken, uploaded to AADSAS, and your app is electronically mailed out to schools.

But it can happen where you never hear back from them about filling out a secondary. Pray this doesn't happen..

True. I applied to Maryland and never got a secondary, actually now that I think about it I don't think they ever actually rejected me. Maybe they lost my app. But for the 17 other schools I applied to.. I paid the supplemental fee and got the supp app. Schools like BU and stonybrook sent their secondaries almost immediately (I applied in August and didn't take my dat at that point). Boston had a few easy questions... But they both just wanted additional $$.
