So for the University of Nebraska Med Center, the pharmcas application and the supplemental application are both due on January 5th. I just submitted my pharmcas application but I can't gain access to the supplemental application. According to UNMC's pharmcas page:

Applicants will not receive access to the online supplemental application until we receive their pharmcas application.

From what I understand, it will take pharmcas awhile to get my application into UNMC, so am I screwed here? Obviously there is no way to get my supplemental app in by Jan 5th if I have to wait for pharmcas. Why would a school make the applications due on the same day when one clearly has to come a few weeks after the other??? Did I just waste a $100 on pharmcas? Ugh.

Yeah, this question is also bothering me. This is my first time applying to pharm school and the whole process is just wacky. Things like the stuff you mentioned is notorious of how stupid some application processes are. But yeah, I'm curious to know the answer to your question to. Hopefully, someone replies.

I don't think you are screwed.......This is UNMC's first year on pharmcas and apparently they did not do their homework. Not allowing access to the supplemental was a terrible idea and is going to put a ton of apps way past the deadline. BTW if you haven't seen it yet there are 8 short answer questions and 1 3000-character essay, which obv will take some time to complete.
I e-submitted on dec1 and didn't hear anything ab the supplemental until dec21. I submitted my supplemental on jan5 with very little time to work on it. I also emailed a question last week and still have not heard back.
I have been very disappointed with their app process.
