Supplemental applications question

I plan on getting my application turned in on friday (7/11)which hopefully will be accompanied by my DAT score and my final LOR. How long does it take for universities to send back supplemental applications and how long do you have to complete them? My issue is i'm leaving for South Africa on a mission trip July 21st and won't be back until August 4th. Any idea if I might run into any issues?

Also, how long did it take for your DAT scores to be added to your application? I took my DAT last thursday (7/3) so I wasn't really expecting it to be in there yet.

You'll only be gone two weeks. Relax. Some schools want them at the same time you submit your app, some automatically send it to you after you submit, and other schools take their time and will send it to selected applicants. Each school is different. The sooner you can send supplementals, the better. However, they'll still be there when you get back. Absolute deadlines are usually later in the semester, so don't worry.
