Anyone in the 1st three application mailings receive their supplementals from their prospective schools? If so, what school(s) and what was the date PharmCAS shows they mailed it?

I'm just wondering how quickly schools send out supplemental applications.

I just received the one from Midwestern CCP today.

Actually, it's not long at all. They emailed me the link that leads me to the supplemental.

Where else are you applying this year, cinnamonroll ?

Let's see, so far I'm totally finished with the supplemental apps for UOP, USC, Mercer, and MCPHS-Worcester. I'm also planning to apply to Midwesterrn CCP, Univ of Hawaii, Univ of Iowa, UCSF, UCSD (my alma mater 😀), Western, UMKC, Creighton, and some other out-of-state schools that I haven't really looked into or decided yet. =/ I saw your endless list of schools on the other thread. How far are you on the supplementals?

I wish schools would have similar supplemental questions so I can just copy paste... I think i can write an autobiography with all the supplemental questions I have to answer.

So how long of an essay does Midwestern ask to write? I wonder if its the same for glendale.

I'm so far only done with three supps... nearly finished with a few. Got to love the non rolling schools so I can procrastinate on those.

I saw my school, Belmont USOP, listed and thought you'd like to know that we understand the variety of supplemental ap forms/processes out there in pharmaland. As we moved to PharmCAS this year, the faculty gave serious consideration to determining what we REALLY needed as per info in a supplemental application.

I was thrilled to see ours come out at 1 page!

What we really had to have was enough contact information about youto be able to match information about you that will come to us from PharmCAS. Having the supplemental first ensures that we know to look for your PharmCAS materials...and, if they don't arrive as expected, to ask PharmCAS, "What's up?".

Belmont USOP's supplemental ap is available on our website under the admissions page as a downloadable Word file.

Enjoy filling out at least 1 "no essays required" supplemental.

2 essays--1500 characters each. The rest is just listing the prereq classes. I haven't started on UCSD and UCSF yet. Probably I won't touch those until September or October.

Thanks for the info, Dr. Hobson!

I thought I should be waiting on PharmCAS to mail out my application, but thanks to your post, I will place my supplemental in the mail today.

That's one supplemental down, many to go!

👍 +1 for Dr. Hobson and Belmont's supplemental.

Thanks. Most of the schools outside cali have fairly short essays. The ones in California are really killer.

I am good, thanks. :luck: I am done with Western and working on UF and Mercer right now. I am going to an application workshop to UCSF on 22nd, to shed some light on what exactly it is that they want. Not that I think I have any chances to get into that school, but I am going to give it one last shot. I am applying to a lot of schools this year, but it's mainly because I am dead set on getting into a Pharm. D/Ph. D program with emphasis in medicinal chemistry, so I am pretty much applying to all the schools that offer that program and a couple filler schools as a backup.

My application was sent to my selected pharmacy schools yesterday and I received an email from Midwestern CCP today with the link to fill out their supplemental application online!!!

I'm getting so excited!!!!:soexcited::banana:

Yea, I just submitted mine on Sunday. Now, I'm just waiting for Howard to grant me an interview once my last LOR is sent in, so I can fill out the supplemental.

cinnamon, I am wondering what your stats is to see if i have any chance of being invited for suppl app. thanks

I received the supplemental for Nova Southeastern today. They asked for a lot of info that they received from PharmCAS. I wish all schools had a supplemental like Belmont's.
