Supplemental Essay Length

So I am writing a supplemental essay and there's no specified character count or length. Are they expecting a couple paragraphs, or a full essay?

Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?

I think it really depends. For my supplemental it was a little over a page double spaced. Just need to hit your message home the best you can
