So in the supplemental essays asking why you want to go to the school, is it ok to say that location is one reason i want to go - like if i live in the area? thanks.

The school you're applying to will notice that your address is in the same area, and they'll probably be able to figure out that location is at least one of the reasons you are applying there. So go ahead and address it. But don't let it come across as your MAIN reason for applying there (even if it is). You shouldn't leave the admissions committee thinking you only want to go to their school because it's convenient. Good luck!
