Supplemental Essays: Very Quick Question

For the supplemental essays that need to be printed and physically sent in via snail mail-- did you guys double space your essays or single space them? I realize this might be a ******ed question but Im not sure how professional double spacing really is.

I double spaced everything... I always think double spacing is professional as it makes the esssay infinitely more easy on the eyes. And these people are reading hundreds of essays.

That's just my opinion, though.

While single space does look neater, most places prefer double spaced typed essays. That's going to be the standard with any papers you write as well. They are easier to read than single spaced.
