How are the supplemental fees paid? Under the program description for Stony Brook, for instance, it says that they will contact the applicant with the link to Paypal.... I just wanted to be sure that, in that area, all I've to do is literally just...wait...for them to contact me about paying the fees, & that I'm not missing any other steps. Paranoid, I know!

Supplemental fees are generally paid to the school once they determine that you meet their basic qualifiers for admission. They can give you a time period as to when this is for the particular school. AND yes it is a lot of waiting. Good Luck Oh and double check sometimes the emails don't get through to you,so it doesn't hurt to call a couple weeks after you know they've received your app.

I thought that they were paid at the same time as the supplemental application. For example, NAU had a supplemental app (to their grad school). You pay a fee just like anyone who's applying to grad school or undergrad. Do some schools have a supplemental fee but no supplemental app?

Thank you. That makes sense - that you'd only have to pay the supplemental fee once that's been determined. And good advice. I'll just keep checking & in a few weeks maybe end up making a call. Thanks a lot!

I have seen schools that require a supplemental app without a supplemental fee, but never the other way around. But I don't know for certain. :/

I had it both ways, NAU sup fee and app were due as part of the process with due date.....others "invited" me to complete the sup app and send a fee.

Okies, I see. I think my case would be the latter. Thanks a lot!
