Hey guys, I notice a number of schools ask about how things may have adversely affected your performance.
I just want an honest opinion, I'm very hesitant on even mentioning it, but this past year was pretty rough in terms of things I couldn't control happening. Throughout my busy times of the semester I ended up being involved in two separate car accidents and also having my apartment flooded at one point by a really bad toilet faucet malfunction. I'm the first not to make any excuses, but I do feel like these things ALTOGETHER affected my performance.
What I'm wondering is if it's even worth mentioning or if schools will think I am trying to find ways to make excuses.
Just wanted some honest input guys. Thanks!
