Does anyone know if the background has to be white for the supplementary picture? I was going to send a picture of myself that I took while I was at a wedding. I'm dressed nicely and the background is a nice, nature type of background, but I'm not sure if it'd be appropriate for sending in with my app. Opinions? 🙂

For pretty much all 2x2 photographs in life they should be against white backgrounds. It's more professional this way.

This is your dental school application. You have one shot at impressing the admissions, so don't ruin your opportunity.

I went to CVS and took a pic there. They had a white wall for the photo. I mean its not the nicest pic, but I think it looks professional.

I used my wedding picture I had friends use theirs. Makes them look human too? I dont think it matters as long as it's nice. (Although a wedding dress picture could be weird if you were a girl)

Oh, I forgot to mention I'm dressed in a blazer and a black dress. I guess I look pretty professional? I was just iffy on the background since it's a bunch of ferns, trees, and water in the background... kind of like a rainforest.
