Heres a situation, I have a good friend that wants to go to undergrad at this university, they rejected her. I know she would have done great there. What would happen if I spoke on behalf of my friend and drove over there since I am within driving distance?

I imagine its of no use given that the rejection was already written perhaps it would have worked prior to that, but it didn't come to my attention until now.

Geldrop,

It's probably not helpful for you to go over there and talk to anyone. For one thing, they can't talk to YOU about her for FERPA reasons (Family Educational Right to Privacy Act) and that will just make the whole thing awkward and ugly.

If you want to help, help your friend find out the appeals process for admissions and help her out with filling out the paperwork for the appeal. Appeals do work sometimes, and I know at least one nursing student on my campus who's in school after filing an appeal (and getting great grades, may I add.)
