How much of a market in the community setting is there for american trained AP/CP grads with fellowships in surgical pathology and cytopathology?

Is cytopathology a boarded subspeciality?

What should be the expected starting pay for such an entry level pathologist?

Cytopath is boarded. Many private groups look for people do do cytopath, but are unlikely to pay you any more just because you do cytopath. It might make you more marketable, but the tradeoffs are you won't get paid anymore and you would have to do cytopath!

To be honest, cytopath fellowship grads with good communication skills can be hard to find.
