Does anyone think it's weird/suspicious/inauspicious that he emphasizes that she didn't charge patients and went without salary when times got tough?

Is that the role model he'll want us to follow?

He searched long and hard to find a physician with so many crosses to bear. I wonder what he's getting at?

no you don't. you know what he's getting at. The policy model and role model is to be so dedicated you'll treat w/o payment and work w/o salary. It's gonna be great.

Well - that's great! This guy has a predilection for "minorities" with "an agenda".

I don't know how good she is as a physician, but o boy - she seems that she spend mot of her time in politics. Who took care of her patients?

Who was covering her practice when she was doing "humanitarian work"? Seems that she's the only physician there - unless the nurses or the PA were in charge. Seems clear to me that the future is not so bright - I will say the opposite but I am afraid to don't be accused of "discrimination" by Sotomayor...
