I heard that condoms were made of the same latex of the gloves that doctors use during surgery and that the AIDS virus is soooo small that it could slip through the condom (even if it doesn't break)and infect 1 out of every 5 condom users if they are unlucky.
Let's say a HIV infected person comes in to the operating table. He is a first time patient but he is sent to hospital after being involved in a car accident. The surgeon doesn't know his HIV status and operates on him.
So that means that if the surgeon on a previous day had cut his finger while cutting vegetables wears the gloves and he happens to be one of the unlucky ones and the virus slips through his gloves, that means he will end up getting HIV? 🙁
The risk might even be higher since many accident victims who might or might not have HIV come in everyday. So being a surgeon is not safe because there is a high risk to be infected by AIDS?Sorry if it is an offensive question but I need to know since there is so much blood involved in surgeon work.
