Surgical attire for procedures?

Quick survey:
Is it necessary to use full surgical gown and drapes for all procedures (i.e. Facets, joints, epidural, etc)? I mean of course this makes sense for implants, but for all percutaneous procedures too?
My hospital QC committee was questioning this, and I'm just trying to get a consensus???

I would do full surgical gown and drapes for epidural catheters.

that being said, draping is different from gowning imo. I can see prep and drape to reduce risk of contamination, and gloves, possibly mask...

There are CDC recommendations regarding wearing a mask during epidurals.....

Sterile prep and drape seems pretty reasonable for any procedure. If you're doing a one-time injection, do you really need to change into scrubs and get on a surgical gown? I've never seen anybody do it.
