Hi,

I am an IMG how is doing 4 months of surgical elective in the US. I was wondering if you could recommend any good books about surgery, some that are well known and good to rely to. I'd prefer a big one and a small pocket size, if something like this exists.

I'd be glad for any suggestions.

Lawrence or NMS for the big book...if you want a small reference guide try the washington manual of surgery
