I know this board tends to like recall, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with both and which they think helped more overall (pimping and the shelf) Thanks!

I'd go with Secrets. It's actually readable, has questions that pertain to higher level thinking, and puts information into context.

The Secrets book basically reads like an interview with an authority on each topic.

The only advantage to Recall is that it's a little more concise. In terms of quick prep for the OR, it's a touch better.

But for your surgical shelf and for the rest of your career, you'd be much better served with Secrets.
