Step up to medicine, Blueprints Medicine, Master the Boards step 2, Washington Manual or Kaplan lecture notes medicine

I have all of these. 🙄

I know this sounds over the top but can anyone comment on which one is the better choice to absolutely destroy step 2 medicine questions or which ones do I combine?

Your advice will be appreciated.🙂

I used SU2M and SU2S2 for the exam + secrets. SU2M was overkill and only relevant to IM/FM. I'd recommend it maybe for sections you are consistently scoring poorly in.

I hear good things about MTB and Kaplan, but no personal experience. Haven't heard of anyone using the others.

Since you are a fan of making review material libraries 😉 I suggest you also get secrets. That book was great.

The only book I used for Step 2, was Step Up to Step 2. I bought Crush Step 2 and looked through First Aid for Step 2 and wasn't impressed.

I have MTB for Step 3 and like it. I can't comment on it for Step 2.

For medicine questions, I think SU2S2 + question banks should get you a good score.

I used step up to medicine. scored like 92 raw on the shelf, crushed step 2ck as well. I've heard good things about secrets too. People might say step up is "overkill", but it's not that hard to read, is well organized and I think the levels of information help you actually remember what you read (vs a crap ton of random bullet points for high yield). That said, you can definitely see some stuff in there is not really testable material. DEFINITELY do not sacrifice re-reading this book at the expense of doing UWORLD questions for the shelf and step2.
