I've heard there is a club or organization or something from where I can get a plastic kit to help me practice suturing?? does anyone know where to get this?? thanks!

The best way is to find a drug rep from johnson and johnson. Check with the surgery department, they should know the drug rep. The company will mail kits to the school.

thanks, but I know there is a company, that if you go to their website, they will send you one for free. Just me, not my school! 🙂 I just can't remember which company. Does anyone else?

Practice kits would be good to have. I was trying to tie knots with an OB/Gyn the other day and he kept going on about how I was "all thumbs" and how I tied like a "future psychiatrist". 🙄

You're probably thinking of Ethicon's practice kit. You can get their knot tying manual for free (download it off their site) but I'm not sure they sell the kit anymore. I suppose e-mailing them wouldn't hurt.
