Swap Schools?

I have been accepted to School A.

But I want to go to School B.

It is July 9th.

School A is ranked higher (USNews) than School B.

I wonder if I could get someone from School B to swap places with me?

Has this ever been done?

eg) swapping because of family, etc. concerns.

Unfortunately admissions directors don't operate solely by USNEWS. That, and there are these little things called waiting lists that are put in place for a reason.

While we're on this question, I was wondering... My friend got accepted for this really prestigious internship at Mayo but I didn't. My friend got into two internships, though (one at JHU), and isn't going to accept this one I applied for but didn't get into (Mayo), so I was wondering, do you think they'd mind if I took his spot? I'm sure he'd tell them I'd make a fantastic intern and they accepted him, so that definitely means I should be able to work with them! What do you think of my idea? I really want to intern at Mayo and I think I'd make a great intern!
