I worked there as an aid for a year in the Out Patient Rehabilitation department in the GLC and I LOVED IT!!!! best experience ever!!! I think it mainly because of this experience that I am currently at Rush OT program, which I also cannot say enough good things about). At Swedish you do have to ask and take the initiative to get involved but that just gives you good practice to learn how to step in and work with patients, ask questions and be an active learner. I would highly recommend shadowing there all the PT's and OT's are awesome. They are open to answering any questions and eager to help you learn!
