Swiss rotations in UK?

I'm a Swiss-Canadian in my second year at a caribbean med school and would like to do my rotations in the UK. I heard there have been some recent changes that only UK citizens and those that hold an EU passport can now do rotations.

My question is if it would be possible for me to get UK rotations? I know that Switzerland isn't part of the EU, but does anyone know for sure? I've searched around but couldn't find an answer.

i believe the best answer you can get is from GMC when it comes to eligibility issues. you can either call or email them (from my own experience they always reply and answer all your q)
