No. Your intern year will not be counted by the American Board of Surgery unless done in an allopathic program.

You'd probably have to repeat the year... not so much because of the osteopathicness, but because of the surgicalness. It just wouldn't have enough of the rotations needed to achieve parity with the FP/IM year.

Nope, as noted above, it will be too "surgical-ly". Or too much "surgicalness". 😀

You *might* get credit for some SICU rotations, but I wouldn't count on it.
