Switching residencies with someone else

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to know whether one can swith his or her residency with someone else from the same program but different states? If so, I would be willing to switch with someone. I am currently a PGY-3 at Harbor-UCLA and want to either switch with someone from Baylor hospital, Parkland, or UT Southwes all in Dallas Texas.

The legally binding contract you sign each year is the important issue.

Other than that, the switch you suggest must be coordinated by both program directors...not a formal requisite but simply what economists refer to as a double coincidence.
